LAC-EU will hold its first network event in York, on March 19-21, with two activities open to the public

Throughout two and a half days, the doctoral candidates will immerse themselves in enriching experiences. The programme will also feature two public events.

The EU-LAC Foundation organises a side event to CSW 69: financial architectures for gender equality in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean

Through its EU-LAC International Women’s Network, the EU-LAC Foundation (one of LAC-EU’s associated partners) has organised a parallel event to CSW69, together with ODI Europe / Walking the Talk, La Coordinadora de ONGs de Desarrollo, Hivos and UN WOMEN.

On the morning of March 22, IBEI hosted a policy roundtable on the relations between the European Union and the Latin American and Caribbean states, the birregional agenda  and upcoming steps.


Training the next
generation of LAC-EU experts

The LAC-EU Doctoral Network is a new Horizon Europe-Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network (MSCA-DN), providing 12 dynamic, forward-looking, and motivated doctoral fellows with the best possible research training and education to enable them to become the next generation of experts ready to take on a leading position to strengthen the role of the EU in the world and to promote a successful and sustainable relationship between the EU and LAC.

LAC-EU will provide a better understanding of recent transformations in LAC, contributing to update and renovate bi-regional relations between the EU and LAC, and to confront current global challenges.
