Panel on the implications and challenges posed by the far right

On the morning of March 21, at the York Medical Society, the University of York hosted a panel discussion on the implications and challenges posed by the far right. The panel was chaired by Vicente Ugalde (Colegio de México), who guided the discussion through two insightful presentations. The first lecture was given by Daphne Halikiopoulou from the University of York and was titled “Far Right in Europe and Latin America”. The second lecture, “The International Dimension of Latin American Populism: Global, Regional, and National Impacts,” was presented by Leslie Wehner from the University of Bath.

This activity was organised within the first network event of the MSCA-Doctoral Network “Understanding Latin American Challenges in the 21st Century” (LAC-EU)
