The MSCA-DN “Understanding Latin American Challenges in the 21st Century (LAC-EU)” closes its call for applications for twelve PhD fellowships

The seven leading higher education institutions that compose the doctoral network have received over 300 applications for the twelve PhD positions they offer, in the framework of LAC-EU. We thank all the people who submitted an application!

Selected candidates will start working on their PhD projects in late September/early October. The research topics they will cover include the rise of populism, democracy, gender rights, trade, migration, health, global cities, sustainability and green finance, and cultural learning.

Through these projects, LAC-EU will develop and promote a comprehensive, interdisciplinary and up-to-date framework to understand LAC multi-level governance and its relation with the EU. For more information about its research programme, click here.
