Several LAC-EU researchers take part in the “Latin America-Europe Relations in Global Reordering” international conference in Buenos Aires

The Department of International Relations at FLACSO Argentina, in association with the Jean Monnet Policy Network EU-RENEW have organised the international conference “Latin America-Europe Relations in Global Reordering”, to be held in Buenos Aires between the 16th and the 20th of September 2024. The conference aims to explore the complexities of the relationship between Latin America and Europe, and to examine how this bi-regional relationship is shaped by the changing global landscape. The programme includes several panels (in English and Spanish), plenary conferences and roundtables, and features the participation of several LAC-EU researchers, from IBEI, FLACSO Argentina and KU Leuven.

EU-RENEW (EU Research and Education Network on Europe in the World) is a global and interdisciplinary network bringing together nineteen outstanding higher education institutions from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. It aims to improve knowledge and enhance debate on the role and place of Europe in a fast-changing global order. Their sixth newsletter focuses on Europe-Latin America relations, and includes a selection of open-access publications revolving around this issue. You can find it here.

We wish our researchers a fruitful conference!
